water surface is so reflective you can actually see the colours of your clothes

kudos for myself. sat at the front with like-minded strangers who also chose those seats to get good pictures as well as grappling with acrophobia so we had a good laugh about it to bolster one another's confidence.

drive back from bluemountains. amber glows on one side and soft hues of lilac and blue on the other. immensely pretty.
the joke is that we'll have australian food instead when we go to korea and japan
very sweet people who insisted i should have another cake because it's a unique rarity to spend birthdays overseas with some people i barely know and sang real loud for me.
we were grabbing a bite after drinks and calling it a night with the others and these people wanted to take a picture with us. they were positively inebriated!
