that big red backpack is mine. undoubtedly one of the best things about being the only girl travelling with guys is i had everything that could be done for me actually done for me.

we tried the dried kiwi. it was great.
in my opinion, these pretty things are meant to be received, not bought for oneself.
we asked a local chinese to recommend a restaurant and he said they are all lousy but expensive. indeed so.

we bought a dozen to bring back to melbourne. my favourite is the lemon-flavoured.
one of the most memorable moments about sydney was the snub to damien's ego when the lady at virgin's check-in counter delivered the finishing line to wrap up the verbal banter between me and damien-" men always think they know everything, but in truth this is how much they know" and thrusting a firmly pressed together thumb-and-second-finger in his face.
