iron structure that characterises the all-important parliament house down under and puts the australian flag on an even higher 'pedestral' so that one cant miss it even from afar.
yay i was there to witness what the union leader dubbed a historic moment in the history of australia; display of a great many orange flags on the lawn outside parliament house and strikes all over australia over the last few days. he gave me an utterly disgusted face when i commented as a matter-of-fact that people do earn 4.50 an hour in singapore.
australian girls' choir in the great hall. they could probably take some lessons from mrs lim yau; learn how to push their ribcages. i remember i found it so hilarious when i was first taught to do it.
canberra is basically an aritifical city in a valley so winters are really cold and summers are really warm, on a comparative scale in the continent.
house of representatives
where the senate sits. apparently the chairs are really valuable, made from expensive materials or political gifts.
canberra was so nothing-to-see in winter that we ended up visiting museums.
one of the many exhibits i took pictures of because i just had to have pictures from canberra. make do with boring museum pictures i thought. used to fantasise about roaming the world in a caravan.
paul whipped up a a few great dishes, my brother did the washing up and i ate. haha
