getting domesticated at Queen Victoria Market. i seriously saw more men than women! it's either there are more men in melbourne city or the women went in the morning or the men really pamper their women so they do the marketing too. i like the last possibility best. my brother said i can just stay at home the next time because i was so not helpful and looked too lost, and neither am i allowed to cook. i really offered to try. even my parents think im such a lost case; they told their son he must cook for his sister. now why am i not enticed to prove them wrong. tsk.
come come WALK-THRU, buy more vegetables and fruits
mayhem at the fishmonger, but it's really clean and dry. very refreshing in contrast to the wet markets in singapore.
slashed prices and a lot of shouting! the vendors even came out to the aisles to do their touting.
mmm. delicious smells wafting through the air.
i wouldnt mind doing the marketing if they all look like that.
check out the directory! the market is probably the size of 2 padangs; well-organised segregation though. someone wrote MAYHEM on it because the market gets increasingly crowded as the day inches towards nightfall, and the savvy shopper will go in the afternoon.
so romantic i think. have a lot of such leaves in my collection, from tokyo.
the parking lots as road divider! cars just do a U-turn anywhere along the road. it's a blessing actually that i'm not expected or rather not allowed to drive. ha.
visual merchandising; the centerpiece in rogers davids that definitely caught everyone's attention
