there's something really morbid about this window display. the chair is regal. but mannequins of babies lying on the ground.
mars-bar cheesecake. doesnt look and taste mars-bar-ish at all though.
lemon cheesecake. the cakes at greco are just so fantastic.
it's either the shutter speed of my camera is too retarded or im not very good at this timing thing because i stood there for a freaking long time trying to capture the full glory of the fire spewing on photographic memory and the best i could manage was this.
oh so happening at lygon street on a monday night- melbourne's little italy because italy won world cup 2006. people were donning the national colours, jerseys, waving flags and cars just kept blasting their horns, the exhilaration was definitely infectious as more people cheered them on. amusing moments included seeing kids as young as 3 years old joining in the fray.
there were probably 4 cake shops along acland street and we bought and ate from all 4. totally spoilt for choice, the cakes and pastries were simply irresistable just from looking at the shop fronts.

ok it was raining and the winds blew the umbrella away.
those little enclaves at the side are perfect for skinny-dipping!
the water just keeps foaming because the waves are really strong.
great ocean road is like a zillion s-course put together. dizzying annoying, and there's not much of a scenery to boast of either since greenery obscures the ocean.
